Today's tradition is something students wait 4 years for... Senior Week! Graduating seniors are invited to attend a week of exciting events between finals and graduation. These events are often student recommendations, such as a seafood boil, milkshake and burger bar, pig roast, and Senior Brunch!

Our next dining tradition attends all of our favorite events... Neil! One of our student favorite team members, Neil, shows up to delight our students during campus celebrations, always dressed occasion.
Next up on our traditions countdown is Breakfast After Dark! Breakfast After Dark is a student favorite, celebrating the end of the semester with breakfast for dinner, games, free giveaways, raffles, and more!
Hosted during finals week, Breakfast After Dark is the perfect study break to celebrate a semester of hard work!

The countdown until move in is on! To celebrate, we are sharing some of our favorite campus traditions. Starting with Cafsgiving, this event is our campus Thanksgiving dinner and is filled with delicious food, great people, and celebrating with students before they leave for break!

Episode 6: 24/7 Dining
Looking for something to eat when our dining locations are closed? Our Just Baked machine and Byte Smart Fridge gives access to grab and go items at all times!
Just Baked serves hot food options and is located in Hale. Byte Smart Fridge serves cold grab and go items, such as drinks, snacks, salads, and more. Byte Fridges can be found in Hale, Scaife, Yorktown, and the Student Rec Center
Episode 5: Market Place Mobile Grocery
A convenient campus destination for grocery staples, featuring deli meats and cheeses, fresh produce, drinks, and prepared foods. Easily place orders on the Transact Mobile Ordering app for pickup on the Nicholson 3rd Floor.

Located on the third floor of the Nicholson Center, here you will find customizable meal options including rice bowls, salads and burritos. The Starbucks 'We Proudly Serve' Coffee Shop will delight you with made-to-order beverages, pastries and sweet treats to keep you fueled throughout the day. You will also find quick and convenient snack options.
Even when there are no students on campus, we are always working to improve the student dining experience. While you might not notice our new cooler, we installed it to help us prepare the freshest and safest meals for our students!

Toss🍝 serves a rotating menu based on culinary concepts, such as Tacqueria (Mexican) and Pastacuitta (Italian).
Grill🍔 serves daily staples such as hot dogs, burgers, french fries, and chicken tenders. This is also where you can find Billie’s Coop House Sandwiches, a fan favorite!
It's halfway through summer vacation, and we're really missing our students. We can't wait to see you all soon!

Chef Zak recently attended Camp’n Cook, a @parkhurstdining event that brings chefs together to learn and try new recipes! Chef Zak prepared salmon that he smoked on a cedar plank over a bonfire, and was named the "Mountain Pie Champion"!
While students are away for the summer, our team gets to find new opportunities to learn and grow while preparing for the next academic year!

Episode 1: PNC Food Court
Oven🍕 serves homemade pizzas, made fresh throughout the day! In addition to daily cheese and pepperoni options, Oven rotates specialty pizza and pepperoni rolls.
Deli🥪 is a prepared to order station where students can build sandwiches and wraps exactly how they want! Deli also serves student favorites, such as the Lock n’ Load and Papa Sal.
Flex Kitchen 🧑🍳 serves rotating home style meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Market Place Mobile Grocery was a new feature this year, and students made the most out of it! Here you can get all of your grocery essentials through the Transact Mobile Ordering app.

Throughout the year, Market Place Mobile Grocery tested new options for students, such as sushi, build your own cook out packs, and Super Bowl sandwich rings. We love trying new features for students to enjoy!

Forged Partners- bringing local products to campus!
Our Forged Partners program introduces guests to locally sourced products, including dairy, produce, and baked goods! By supporting small and local business, we make a difference in our communities, sustainability efforts, and the quality and freshness of ingredients!
Throughout the year, our Culinary Test Kitchen serves new and unique dishes for students to try! What was your favorite feature?
To help with our sustainability efforts, RMU Dining offers free to go containers for all students. After students are done with their meal, they can return the box for another box or a redeemable token.
Not only is this an easy, no mess solution for students, but it also allows us to minimize single-use plastic waste on campus♻️
We know college is busy, which is why Hale Market is conveniently located in one of the busiest academic buildings! Grab a quick snack before class and stay energized all day long!
